We are proud to introduce you to an all-new concept in healthy eating and living, Nohara by Mizuno. Located in trendy Harajuku, one of Tokyo’s busiest and most interesting areas, Nohara by Mizuno, which opened just last year, combines a fitness studio (perfect for those looking to rent a yoga studio in Tokyo), restaurant/café, running station, and sports apparel shop into a one-stop solution store for health-conscious customers.

Most businesses in Harajuku don’t open until 10 or 11 A.M, making it an excellent location for a peaceful morning run. Nohara by Mizuno’s fitness studio and running stations open at 7 A.M. on weekends and holidays, allowing you plenty of time to take advantage of this fact. Rent a locker for a little as ¥750 a day and head on over to nearby Yoyogi Park for an invigorating jog or run. Once through, come back for a shower (they have seven in total, four for women, three for men) and meal. Towels are available for an extra fee, and they even have running programs for those who’d prefer to run with a group.

Their fitness studio, Nohara Studio, offers classes and lessons in dance, Pilates, yoga and more. You can take a look at what they have and sign-up at their Japanese website. If you happen to be a teacher or instructor looking to rent a yoga studio in Tokyo – you’re in luck – the studio can also be rented for about ¥5000/hour (details and the studio’s availability schedule can also be found at their Japanese website).

Most, however, will probably want to visit for their food. Nohara by Mizuno has an incredible kitchen and professional staff who’ll quickly fix you up with one of their mouthwatering rice dishes, wraps and sandwiches all made from high-quality, healthy, fresh ingredients. They also have a variety of jaw-dropping waffles and parfaits, and even serve alcohol for those who care to indulge. The portions are unusually generous for Japan, as are the prices reasonable. Unlike other cafes in the area, Nohara by Mizuno’s is comfortably large – furnished with ten tables with great views of the street below, and one long common table indoors.

Before or after your workout or meal, you can go through their large selection of sports goods and wears for sale; they carry training gear, footwear, casual wear, and accessories from their sponsor, Mizuno, a globally recognized leading name in sports equipment and sportswear.
