Tucked away on a side street midway between Meguro Station and Shirokanedai Station, Dr. Jason S. Wong dental office is a bright, airy and spotless space graced by museum-quality works of art by a noted Shin Dynasty painter—his great-grandfather. A 1982 graduate of the University of Michigan’s dental school, Dr. Wong was born in China, grew up in Japan, and did his undergraduate studies at MIT.

Board-certified in Japan, 1983. While at MIT, obtained a patent for microculturing cells that is still being used by biotech firms.
Dr. Wong is a general dentist, and his primary goal is to preserve your original teeth whenever possible and keep the cost of care reasonable. He handles general check-ups, cleaning, fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, root canals and simple wisdom tooth extractions. Dr. Wong is also a part time assistant professor at Nippon Dental University specializing in prosthodontics and temporomandibular joint dysfunction—a condition caused by an uneven bite. He treats both adults and children, and has a number of patients from abroad. His reputation brings in many clients by referral. Dr. Wong is always ready to offer a second opinion on the necessity of procedures such as root canals, crowns, bridges, and implants that other dentists recommend.
