About the product
This organic okra is JAS certified by ECOCERT, and comes in 6 to 9 cm pieces. The JAS certification means you can rest assured the okra has been grown on farmland where pesticides and chemical fertilizers have not been used for three years or longer, and the use of GMO ingredients nor exposure to radiation is allowed.
The calyces of this okra have been removed so that it can quickly be added to any dish, and it comes in ziplock bags for easy storage, with each bag containing about 30 pieces. Okra is a great source of folic acid, fiber, and vitamin B-6. It also contains vitamin A and vitamin C, potassium, magnesium, and iron.

How to prepare
Okra is commonly used in traditional Japanese cooking, as well as many Indian dishes. Making okra is quick and simple. No need to defrost before cooking: just remove the portion you need while still frozen, blanch briefly and serve! Okra can be eaten by itself with various sauces, or added to salad, stir-fry, or stew for unique flavor and texture. When making stir-fry or stew, add the frozen okra when the dish is nearly finished cooking, and it will thaw to perfection.
