About the product
Made with natural stringy mozuku seaweed. Made with about 3g (15% of the liquid content) of added brown rice vinegar (black vinegar). Other similar commercially available products sometimes use mozuku seaweed from Okinawa that has been preserved in salt, and sometimes use ingredients such as chemical seasonings.
If you did not grow up eating seaweed, it may at first look and feel quite strange! However, seaweed is a quick and delicious way to add flavor to rice and other foods, and is extremely healthy to eat. Many types of seaweed are quite mild in taste, and may be easier to convince children to try than other types of vegetables such as spinach or broccoli.
How to prepare
How to defrost: Simply defrost in the refrigerator. To defrost more quickly, place the bag beneath running water. How to eat: Once defrosted, transfer both the seaweed and liquid contents to a bowl, and eat as-is. Alternatively, mozuku seaweed can also be used as a component of a number of dishes, including mabo tofu, zaru soba (cold soba noodles), miso soup, and salads.Note: Do not microwave this product to defrost.
