About the product
The wrappers for these rolls are made using both wheat and rice flour (rice flour does not soak up oil as readily as wheat flour), making them less likely to become sticky. They are also rolled individually by hand, with just the right amount of space left between filling and wrapper; so that after frying they will have an airy, crispy feel.
The curry-flavored rolls are only mildly spicy, and just fine for children. Their stuffing includes steamed potatoes, so while small in size they are quite filling.
The tomato/bean rolls utilize an effective blending of the sourness and umami of tomatoes with the richness of natural cheese.
How to prepare
Be sure not to defrost these rolls before frying. Fry them in oil at about 180℃ for about 4 minutes, letting them turn a nice golden-brown. They float easily, so dip them down into the oil occasionally as you fry. The rolls come thoroughly seasoned, and once fried they can be eaten as-is.The insides of the rolls will be extremely hot after frying. Please use caution to avoid burns.
