About the product
This Japanese-style curry is rich with the umami of sautéed vegetables and apple paste, and contains 11% meat.
Japanese-style curry is similar in some ways to curries from other parts of the globe, and in some ways it is its own dish. Japanese curry tends to be thick, and a little bit sweet as well as varying levels of spicy. Curry restaurants are very common in Japan.
Many stores around the world sell dry cubes which can be used to make Japanese-style curry at home. However, it can be difficult to tell how much of the cubes to use in a dish, and cooking the cubes into a dish can be messy and time-consuming. Sugarlady’s frozen curry provides a quick and easy, cleanup-free way to enjoy Japanese-style curry. Our curry needs only to be boiled, still in its bag, in water; and it is ready to be enjoyed!
How to prepare
To prepare the curry, place it (still frozen, still in its bag) in an ample quantity of boiling water. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes. If the bag touches the rim of the pot, or if the bag is sticking out or hanging out of the pot, the bag can melt and develop holes. Please boil with care. ※ Will be very hot after cooking. Please use caution to avoid burns.
