About the product
This dashi soup stock is rich with flavors carefully acquired from katsuobushi, muroaji(mackerel scad)bushi, saba(mackerel)bushi, niboshi (small dried sardines), and kombu seaweed. It is concentrated and has a salty taste.
This dashi soup stock does not use ingredients such as chemical seasonings or hydrolyzed protein, while other similar commercially available products geared towards stews (such as Shiro Dashi and Nimono Jouzu) do.
We have taken the time to prepare this for-stews dashi soup stock with care, including conscientiously selecting good quality katsuobushi as well as other types of bushi (dried, fermented, and smoked fish) and kombu seaweed.
How to prepare
The quantities in our usage instructions are approximations; feel free to adjust according to your tastes. How to use: Suimono (clear broth soup): Combine 1 tablespoon dashi soup stock with 150 to 200ml water. Vegetable stew/other stews: Combine 1 tablespoon dashi soup stock with 150 to 200ml water. Takikomi gohan: Combine 1 tablespoon dashi soup stock with 1 container of rice. After opening the dashi soup stock, store it in the refrigerator (below 10℃) and use as soon as possible. You may see particles settling or floating in the dashi soup stock while it is being stored; this is natural and does not negatively impact the quality of the product. Shake well before use.
