About the product
These specialty shrimp cutlets are made with plenty of natural shrimp (each cutlet is 66% shrimp, while some similar commercially available products are 50% coating). Each cutlet contains a combination of chunks of shrimp (factory shelled) and surimi (minced then mashed) shrimp, allowing you to enjoy both the texture and flavor of shrimp from your first bite.
Preparing fried foods can be quite messy and time-consuming, and as a result many people avoid making their own at home. However, because these cutlets arrive ready to fry, it can save you a great deal of time and nearly all of the cleanup!
Many similar commercially available products use phosphate or pH adjusting agents, and use shrimp which are made to retain water (so that they feel more tender and don’t decrease in weight). Sugarlady does not rely on such additives, using only shrimp free of chemical or artificial additives.
Shrimp is a good source of vitamin A, zinc, and selenium. A large serving of shrimp will also take care of an entire day’s recommended intake of vitamin B-12.
How to prepare
Without defrosting them, fry the cutlets in an ample quantity of oil (at about 170℃) for about 4 minutes 30 seconds.These cutlets make great appetizers, or can be sliced and served with Japanese-style curry or donburi rice dishes. Alternatively, on days when you are away from home, they can be easily packed for a light meal on the go!
