About the product
Lychees are a delicious fruit, often used in Chinese desserts. Unlike fresh lychee, frozen lychee can be stored for long periods; and is also a great option for those who live in countries where fresh lychee is difficult to find in supermarkets.
Lychees can be eaten by themselves, or used in fruit salads and other dishes. Lychee skin is rough and yellowish-pink or yellowish-red, and the flesh is white and sweet. Each fruit contained is approximately 25g. Lychees contain polyphenols, small amounts of potassium, and a lot of vitamin C; making them healthy as well as tasty.

Even if our lychees remain frozen for months, once defrosted they will still be sweet and pearlescent.
How to prepare
Without defrosting the package, take out the portion of lychees you will be using. Skin the lychees when they are halfway through defrosting (the skin can be easily removed by hand). Do not eat the skin or the pit of lychees. Lychees can be enjoyed by themselves as a snack or dessert. They look somewhat like white grapes when skinned, and make a cute garnish either sliced or whole for cereal, waffles, or pudding. They can be used as a component of fruit salad and as an ingredient in sweet sauces.
