About the product
Good quality second flush green tea, coated with fragrant Matcha. “Flush” refers to the time of the year the tea leaves were picked. First flush refers to the very first harvest of the year, which happens in spring (late April to May). Second flush is picked in early summer and has more robust taste and flavor than the first flush. Second flush is said to contain three times more catechin than the first flush of which leaves are younger and has lighter and fresh aroma and taste.
In addition to Catechin, which fights against oxidization and infection, and lowers lipid in blood, green tea has much more health benefits and contains various vitamins such as vitamin c, vitamin B12, vitamin E, folic acid and B carotene, various minerals such as potassium, calcium, phosphorus, and manganese, as well as GABA which lowers blood pressure, saponin which fights agaist aging, chlorophyll which supresses breath odor among others.
Brown rice fights against aging, cancer, constipation and works great as a detox agent.
How to prepare
To brew 2 to 3 servings of brown rice tea, use about 2 tablespoons of tea leaves (6-8 g), in 200 to 300 ml of hot water. Brewing time should be approximately 30 seconds. Make sure the temperature is around 80 – 90°C.Pre-warm the teapot and teacups. Cool the boiling water to 80 ~ 90 ℃ for the first pot. Pour the tea into the cups evenly to the last drop.
