How to prepare
To microwave: When using in recipes such as mapo eggplant (similar to mapo tofu, a spicy dish served in many Chinese restaurants), transfer the eggplant frozen to a plate, and microwave without covering the plate. For 100g of eggplant: In a 500W microwave, cook for about 2 minutes 30 seconds. In a 600W microwave, cook for about 2 minutes. After microwaving, stir-fry with warmed sauce. To fry: Fry the eggplant frozen in 170℃ oil, and eat with sesame sauce or ginger soy sauce. To stew: When using this eggplant in a stew, bring your broth to a boil, then add the eggplant frozen and let it stew for 4 to 5 minutes.
