With all this experience and lack of preventive sports medicine and anti-aging clinics in Japan, she decided to open her own in Tokyo in April 2014. The main focus of her clinic is on the importance of correctly moving your body to prevent injury and deter joint and spinal diseases.

Dr. Kakuko meets with all of her patients to determine what of the appropriate therapy and then sends them to the right specialists for treatment. If surgery is required, the clinic will arrange for highly qualified professionals in an affiliated hospital.

The clinic has ultrasound and x-ray machines as well as other medical equipment to assess the status and progress for each patient and provide state-of-the-art therapy. Her team uses expert training equipment like Power Plate and Pilates Reformers along with dumbbells, exercise balls and other props for the stretching and building of muscles.
