About the product

A mixture of the freshest shrimp, squid, and Japanese bay scallops. Preparing one variety of seafood can be a daunting task when running short on time, but on busy days cooking with several different types can be nearly impossible. Sugarlady’s frozen mixed seafood allows you to make seafood combination dishes expediently, and without worrying about all the messy cleanup! In addition, because this mixed seafood can be stored in the freezer for up to a year, it is easy to have it on hand with no need to worry about spoiling.

The nutritional composition of this product is calculated as an average of the compositions of the shrimp, squid, and scallops.

Shrimp is a good source of vitamin A, zinc, and selenium. A large serving of shrimp will also take care of an entire day’s recommended intake of vitamin B-12.

How to prepare

To use in making tempura, first defrost by placing in salt water (1 litre of water with approximately 3 teaspoons of salt mixed in).Use the mixed seafood frozen when cooking it into seafood gratins, curries, stews, or Chinese dishes.Seafood is a popular theme for meals all around the world, and this seafood mix is handy for making everything from Chinese-style stir-fries with noodles or rice to Italian-style salads and pasta dishes to Indian-style curries.
