Chintan is a type of soup that is condensed but also light in flavor, made made by boiling pork, chicken bones/carcass, and vegetables to extract their flavor. It is cooked carefully so as to preserve its translucency.
Our chintan all-purpose seasoning is a concentrated liquid and comes in stick-shaped packets, making it quick and easy to use. The contents may appear cloudy, and you may notice some settling occurring. This is just protein (from which the umami flavor comes) that has separated, and will not affect the quality of the product.
