About the product
This soup is made with a super-sweet variety of corn. All corn used in this soup was grown in Hokkaido. This soup is concentrated and made to be doubled in volume using milk. It has a homemade feeling. The soup is 30% corn, which coupled with the butter produces a nicely rich texture.
Corn soup has a comforting and delicious flavor, but fresh corn can be arduous to prepare as well as difficult to find out of season. Sugarlady’s frozen soup saves you the time-consuming tasks of shucking the corn and of removing the edible parts from the cob, and allows you to quickly and easily prepare corn soup anytime you wish.
How to prepare
To defrost: The soup can be placed, still in its unopened bag, either in the refrigerator or beneath running water to defrost. To eat: After defrosting, pour the soup from the bag into a pot, and add an equal quantity of milk (150mL). Stir while cooking on medium heat. When it begins to gently boil, it is finished cooking. The quantity of milk added can be adjusted to suit your personal tastes.
