About the product

This shoyu, or soy sauce, ramen was made with a variety of wheat from Kyushu that is well-suited to ramen. The variety is called “ra-mugi.” The noodles have been boiled and then frozen, making them easy to cook using just one pot. The noodles can also be cooked in the microwave. (Do not use a microwave to heat the soup included with this dish.)

The pure brew soy sauce in this dish, soy sauce made using carefully selected whole soybeans from Saga Prefecture, combines with the umami and richness of the Japanese-style chicken soup stock and draws out the flavor of the soy sauce; resulting in a truly delicious and high-quality experience.

How to prepare

To cook in a pot: Add 330mL of water to your pot. Heat until it boils, then pour in the soup stock included with this dish. Remove the noodles (still frozen) from their bag and add them to the pot. Stir gently. When the noodles come apart from one another, transfer them to a bowl. Add any other favorite ingredients, condiments, or spices, and enjoy! To cook in the microwave: Remove the noodles (still frozen) from their bag and put them on a plate. Cook them for approximately 3 minutes in a 500W microwave, or for 2 minutes 30 seconds in a 600W microwave. Pour the soup stock as well as 300mL of hot water into a bowl, and stir well. Once the noodles are done cooking, add them to the bowl. Add any other favorite ingredients, condiments, or spices, and enjoy! Both soup and noodles will be very hot after cooking. Please use caution to avoid burns.
