About the product
Our unique kinpira rice burger is perfect for the burger connoisseur who has tried every type of sandwich under the sun and is looking for something new and innovative to eat.
This Japanese-style sandwich features a richly-textured kinpira “burger” made with chicken and 3 types of vegetables. Kinpira is a Japanese cooking method somewhat similar to sautéing. Foods cooked kinpira-style often use chili pepper, but we have left it out of this item to create a milder flavor. This sandwich can be prepared easily using your microwave.
Burdock root is not commonly seen in Western cooking, but is quite popular as an ingredient in traditional Japanese foods. Burdock root contains antioxidants, and is good for your liver. Pregnant women and those with allergies to ragweed, daisies, and/or chrysanthemums, however, should not eat burdock.
How to prepare
Remove the kinpira rice burger (still frozen) from its outer bag. Cut a 2cm slit in the end of the inner bag and place it on a plate. Cook for approximately 3 minutes 30 seconds in a 500W microwave, or for approximately 2 minutes 30 seconds in a 600W microwave. The sandwich will be very hot after microwaving, so please use caution to avoid burns.
