About the product
One of the features of this dashi soup stock is how richly flavorful it is, which comes in part from a blend of highly fragrant katsuobushi and rich sodagatsuobushi, both ground into powder. This soup stock also contains katsuo (oceanic bonito) extract and katsuobushi extract, giving it an even stronger Japanese-style “dashi” feel.
Seasonings can be a crucial part of a meal, turning plain food into a delicious experience. After all, sometimes we only think we don’t like certain foods because we haven’t tried them with the right seasoning! Sugarlady’s specially selected Japanese-style dashi soup stock and other seasoning products are safe and free of chemical seasonings and additives, letting the true, natural flavors of the ingredients themselves shine – and allowing you to enjoy your meal without worry.
How to prepare
To use to make dashi soup stock for suimono (clear broth soup), miso soup, stews, or other dishes, dissolve 1 bag (7g) in approximately 600ml of water. Subtle quantities of the dashi soup stock can also be used with vinegared or pickled dishes, chopped foods with sauces, tare sauce, or stir-fries to give them a mild finish. Feel free to adjust the amount of dashi soup stock you use in any dish to suit your tastes. Due to the nature of this product, it is easy for it to absorb moisture and start to solidify; so once opened it should be used as soon as possible.
